Mokotów Fields Park

It is the biggest park in Warsaw, which took its name from one of the Warsaw districts. Until World War II, a major part of the park was occupied by an airfield and the Warsaw Polytechnic aircraft works. It was also the site of Warsaw Airport and the horse racing track. Nowadays it is one of the most favourite places for the city dwellers to relax, sunbathe, play with kids and dogs and study, as the park is situated near Warsaw School of Economics and Polytechnics. It is also famous for its pubs and numerous events which are organised here every weekend.
