Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

It is a monument in dedicated to the unknown soldiers who have lost their lives for Poland during World War I and II. It is one of many such national tombs of unknown soldiers that were erected after World War I. It is placed under the arcades of the former Saxon Palace, guarded by soldiers 24 hours a day, all year long. It is also a place of national celebrations, placed at the biggest square and one of the most beautiful parks in Warsaw. Every hour visitors can admire the change of guards.
